Restless Rose Dolls

*Friendly reminder:  I freehand EVERYTHING, so the ones that look off... don't judge too harshly, that just means I didn't wake up with my painting abilities that day.*  I LOVE doing tattoo updates, and if you follow my Pinterest you know my posts are just full of those, but I figured, why not just make a chaotic post of me going more in depth about my favori—ahem I’m sorry I don’t play favorites—the doll who inspired me to create RestlessRoseDolls: ✨ Mr. Caspian Jake Palmer✨  I’ve been working off and on on him for… Roughly three years now? I just kinda find random tattoos that I like and go oh! That would be cool! So… idk he’s like a beautiful mosaic because there is no design or layout behind this.  But I will do a little background about him before I get into the actual “tattoo” part…  Here’s a really bad picture of him and Ty, but I just wanted to include it because it was WAY before I started filling in his sleeves and it is just SO wacky for me to remembe...

  So. I have a mini rule for myself, that I won't pay more than $40 for an American Girl Doll... (I might have to make an exception for the AG Moana doll though because she is STUNNING) and well... I'll do a recap off all the dolls I've bought in the last six months, but I'd officially told myself I was done for the year... then this doll went on sale...  The seller had her listed as Truly Me 69 (which she is obv not), but I'm about 99.9999999999% sure she's a Jess, which is amazing for me because buying a mislabeled Jess means she's cheaper!  Even if she's not authentic Jess, the 31 bucks I paid for a lookalike, I can't complain.  I've wanted Jess ever since little me was watching MixiePixie7 on youtube.  So.  She's one of my Christmas presents to myself this year (LOL).    I'm renaming her Cielo (literally just pronounced Cello, but cooler) and I'm writing this part before I even have her (she's sitting in Colorado right now) so...

Why I Hate Set Building (and really just need a doll room) - an ironic photoshoot  *yes, I know I spelt process wrong... I'm tired, and sick, and too lazy to fix it*  Real footage of how disastrous set building is in my room... makes the entire space look like a tornado.  Only time it's worse is when I'm changing outfits 😭   And of course... naturally... I live in what FEELS like one of the rainiest states in the US... so my chances for outdoor photography are... well they're getting virtually nonexistent.  What does that mean? Set building... yay... 🙂😭
