The 𝓥𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓮 in Me

As some of you may know, I have non-AG dolls in my collection as well! Since I did a meet the dolls page for my AG collection, I figured I’d give my vintage girlies (and guy) a spot as well! 

Rosie Aurora Moore

The very first doll I received was Rosie (Miss Rosie Aurora Moore).  When I was really little, I tried cutting her hair, which is why it looks the way it does... it was a hack job honestly, but she is just SO iconic, I don't think it would ever be the same if I bought her a new wig.  In the books, she is Caspian's niece, which is why I usually photograph the two of them together!  (She loves him so much and they are almost ALMOST inseparable) 

I just absolutely ADORE her.  

Fiona Redgrave

Next I received Fiona, which was a doll my Grandma had from her childhood and gifted to me.  She’s a Revlon doll from the 50s 💕✨ 

I always admire the people that buy dolls for display only, and my Grandma was very much one of those... Fiona still had her hair net and everything.  

I recently gave her the last name Redgrave, because me and my Grandma were watching an old Hollywood movie and one of the actresses last names was Redgrave and I thought that was the coolest last name ever.  

Johnny 

I actually... did something odd... and I bought a porcelain doll... which I wasn't intending to, but I found Johnny at Goodwill, and I ended up going back a few days later and getting him.  When I was younger and used to play dolls, he was always Rosie's partner in crime, and HUGE animal lover (he had an insane array of pets) and really was going to change the world one day.  

Maybelle Jenkins 

I got Maybelle for the Christmas of 2023... she is also an Effanbee... uhm... she's definitely not one of my favorites, and she has a lazy eye (which my mom did not realize) so... I don't really have any face pictures of her, and my mom keeps telling me it's okay, and I can get rid of her... but it just seems to sad to part with her.  I will figure her out one day!  

Antionette Mary Mitchell 

Summer of 2024 I bought Antionette!  She is Sammy-J's little sister, just as feminine as she is.  She REALLY needs a new wig, I have some questions about the manufacture's process... they just kinda put two strands in the front and one chunk in the back and she's... well... if you style it right you can't really tell.  

If I was thinking properly, I would've tucked the flyaway into her braid, but oh well.  I still think it's cute.

Wilhelmina Kate Redgrave

For an absolute STEAL I acquired (one of my absolute FAVORITE dolls) Miss. Wilhelmina Kate Redgrave (Fiona's little sister).  I could go on forever about her.  She reminds me of a Hollywood movie star.

"Coco" Chanel 

Finally, as of this Christmas... I have the LOVELY Miss Chanel!  She's definitely going to be a nosey, making everything her business, kinda type, and I can see her always trying to give life advice... have any of you seen the Eloise movies?  Because that is literally her personality.  A little six year old trying to conquer the world.  

This is her original outfit, trust me, it's not something she would choose for herself willingly.
