✨Tattoo Tours and Random Updates✨
*as with all my tattoo posts, friendly reminder that I free-hand EVERYTHING, so don’t judge too harshly!*
Hey guys! I know I JUST posted, but uhm... you don't mind, do you?
*this is what writers do instead of writing their novels. They find other less important things to write about*
I know I did a tattoo tour for Caspian, because... well he's got over 50 tattoos so he's kinda my go to, but I actually have four girls with tattoos as well, and they're kinda the OGs so I figured I'd share them as well! (I'm just going to say, Julie is DEFINITELY my favorite, I LOVE the theme of her tattoos!)
With Caspian, I know I covered all his tattoos, or they were at least all included in the photographs, but for this I'm just going to touch on more of my favorite ones...
Julie
I definitely went with a more... Disney... cartoonish vibe... which I honestly LOVE so much, it is just SO her! So let's get into it!
(Would you be surprised if I told you I dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween?)
next is the Cheshire cat... which is another one I LOVE! Not to flex or anything... but they way it turned out.... *chefs kiss*
And finally, some Cinderella birds and a cherry, because... well, because why not?
𝙰𝙳:
I genuinely think this is one of my all-time favorites out of all the dolls I've done, probably because I know NOTHING about drawing anatomy (I mean... I can draw an atomically correct heart but that's about it) so it was a genuine challenge but I love the result! (The irony is that I've taken NOTHING BUT A&P classes since freshman year LOL)
Jordan!
Ik, ik, ik, I talk about Jordi WAY too often... but guys... anyway. I'll make this quick. I genuinely think Jordan might've been the first doll I put a tattoo on so I just wanted to share my favorite of her tattoos (she has quite a few LOL)
Iris
The last girl doll of mine that has tattoos is Iris! I gave them to her before I painted the vitiligo... and she has three off the top of my head, but I'll be honest here, I really only like one of them (😂)
Moving on!
Now... I've been reworking so many repaints and I just... let's be real here, I have too many dolls (guess who just bought another one! I'm having a TINY bit of buyers remorse because I am now virtually broke and I forgot... erm... misremembered that my brother's birthday is a LOT closer than I thought it was, and I need to buy his gift... like NOW, but it'll all be fineeeeeeeeee) Where was I?
Oh ya! So I wanted to use a blog post to highlight some of my repaint stuff! Because I don't have a clue when I will get around to posting them. Which reminds me!!!! Any dolls you would like to see more of PLEASE let me know, because I can get so lost trying to figure out which dolls need more spotlight on my account. I currently have Kirsten and Samantha in my lineup, but any other ones, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, don't hesitate to message me and be like "girl. You haven't posted ___ in forever, I need more of __"
But here is the lovely Miss Saige!
Her book character is about 17, and with her old repaint she looked like she was in her 30s.... I really struggle with lips and figuring out colors, but I like where she's at rn. Also! Splatter freckles!!! My favorite!
And once more for Gracie, because... I'm just... obsessed.
Oh! And final, closing note...
I got a new doll shelf! (Technically my first doll shelf)
The picture is terrible, but you get the jist. And it finally moves the dolls off one of my tables, so I can make a mini doll room, which, I'm sure will be on my Pinterest account shortly. (Along with my Palm Springs photos!!)
I think my next post will end up being me going more in depth about my favorite dolls and why, but I don't see that happening for awhile (which, tbh, means like a week). I'm starting to see an odd pattern in my posting style, I'll do like three back to back and then go a week or two with nothing.
It's fine.
It's all fine.
Remember the burning dog meme?
Hi.
Also! Which of Julie's tattoos is your favorite???

How can I judge? The burning dog meme is me. (The fact that I literally almost bought a sticker of that dog for my car today---)
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with Julie's Strawberry Shortcake tattoos. The first time you posted them on your Pinterest, I was just like, *Yes.* It takes me back to when I would play Strawberry Shortcake dress-up games on my mom's IPad when I was little. I like the Cinderella birds too though. Also I'm obsessed with Iris's bee tattoo.
Omg wait I think I had almost the exact same wig you have on Gracie on Troy before he was a boy doll. It's super cute on Gracie. <3
A post on your favorite dolls sounds super fun, and I cannot wait to see it. I love hearing people talk about their collections (and doing some talking about my collection too)... idk why I'm like that but it's fun for me.
That's too funny! My favorite sticker I have on my Bronco is one my best friend bought me that says "The Closer You Get, the Slower I Go" because I'm petty like that 😇. But my all-time favorite is one that says "if you hit me, you better kill me" however, I don't think my dad would let me buy that.
DeleteI love those types of posts too! I think it's fun because I have ZERO doll friends so usually my mom just gets to listen to my excited doll-related gibberish.
That's amazing. Once my car actually... um... *works*... I have a feeling it's going to end up with a lot of stickers. I saw one today that said "live, laugh, lobotomy" which is just unhinged. 😭 I also saw a sticker on Pinterest that said "This car is NOT an Ed Sheeran safe space" and I'm like... I need that.
DeleteMoms who listen to doll-related gibberish are a national treasure. I've met a few people IRL who are into dolls (I unknowingly met the moderator of the AG Reddit page once??), but my mom is my #1 person to go to for doll rants.
Okay... don't hate... but Shivers by Ed Sheeran is one of my favorite songs... HOWEVER, that made me laugh out loud and I would genuinely buy something that said that, he honestly weirds me out on every other level.
DeleteI WILL say though... idk if you know about 5hensandacocketiel (I am OBSESSED with everything she does *that is NOT Taylor Swift related, I'm very passionately not a Swiftie*) but her husband is actually my school's drama teacher!
I love these tattoo tour posts! It's so fun to see all the different creative ones you've done for your dolls. The differences in tattoos for each doll really describe their personalities.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I definitely tailor everything about repaints to the personality of the character
