Collection Prerequisites

 Hey guys!! So after Lilo got water stains… well… I figured I’d put together a semi-amusing post. 

So today we have: 

The Prerequisites to truly become a RestlessRoseDoll 

*side note, I’ve been vibing with Time of the Season by the Zombies but also July by Hozier (which is such a Caspian song and I love it for him) but! Time of the Season… love it. 

#1 : Staining. 

Paint stains, random stains… when you set out to only buy TLC dolls… all your dolls have stains. 

#2 : Water Stains. I will say, *I* have only caused water stains on two of my dolls off the top of my head (Lilo and Jo) because usually when my dolls go “swimming” their entire body ends up getting wet (so there isn’t any staining) OR (and this is more common) I just end up buying dolls with water stains *cough cough I’m looking at you Dylan Tate* 



#3 : We are so past middle school 

My book characters are in like their 20s, my youngest is Cielo who is 16. And I paint doll tattoos. I post a variety of stuff okay? We can’t really be the advertised AG age here, ya? ๐Ÿ˜‚ 




#4 : we love the pink and feminist girlies too. 









#5 : Jewelry is a must for any outfit 






#6 : Tattoos to show off ✨๐Ÿ’• we’re going to showcase my prized possession doll for a moment ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜  and I know I mentioned July as a Caspian song, but Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio is definitely another one. 


I’m currently working on giving him more symbolic tattoos and ones dedicated to specific family members so I’ll have a tattoo update post soon. 


And then here’s my Strawberry Shortcake tattoo ๐Ÿ’•

And Cielo because she and her temporary tattoo are just iconic to me. 




# 7 : unintentional paint stains (Caspian's particularly great at this one) 

The amount of times I’ve grabbed a piece of doll clothing or a doll cloth body not knowing I have paint on my hands… so Caspian and LOTS of clothes (both doll and mine) are covered in random spots of bright green and blue paint. 


To have this many dolls? Y’all… #8 : gotta be young, dumb, and broke.

    Just things that make RestlessRoseDolls ✨iconic✨. Besides, random stains are a prerequisite for JustDolling dolls too... I'm like 80% sure the paint on my dollhouse walls rubs off on my dolls because they magically show up with marks sometimes.

      Aww that's sweet, thank you! When I get frustrated about staining I just take a deep breath and go "well, this is what makes this doll collection my doll collection" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…

Hey guys!! Happy… technically it’s still Saturday! I’ve been meaning to post this for a month ๐Ÿ˜… and I had some pictures with Lilo in the snow, and I had other indoor ones… but they just… they weren’t Lilo.  And obv, when I received Lilo… it was “snow” season. Tattoo Tour - Caspian Jake Palmer

*Friendly reminder:  I freehand EVERYTHING, so the ones that look off... don't judge too harshly, that just means I didn't wake up with my painting abilities that day.*  I LOVE doing tattoo updates, and if you follow my Pinterest you know my posts are just full of those, but I figured, why not just make a chaotic post of me going more in depth about my favori—ahem I’m sorry I don’t play favorites—the doll who inspired me to create RestlessRoseDolls: ✨ Mr. Caspian Jake Palmer✨  I’ve been working off and on on him for… Roughly three years now?
