Restless Rose Dolls

Hi guys! With Valentine's Day weeks away (and all my photo prep finished), I figured I would do a walkthrough of what the 2025-2026 holiday season has looked like for RestlessRoseDolls! They won't be ranked in any particular order, but I'd love to know your favorites 😊✨ Starting with Fall / Halloween we have Eden, Jo, and Caspian & Jordan  Kirsten contributed too, on a more Thanksgiving note:  I made the pie crust with playdoh, which I painted.  I found some random berries on a tree, which I cut up and mixed with strawberry jam, and ya!  I felt a bit insane, but I LOVE how the photo turned out!   And then my dolls jumped right into Christmas, which is just naturally the most wonderful time of the year ✨ I actually cannot get over my obsession with Ellen in this photo... she looks SO stunning and magical. I'm forever so grateful that I decided to redo her repaint a few months back ♡♡♡ Lili'uokalani also looks majestic in this pic too ♡ And obviously, yo...

I was going to delete my blog, but I'm keeping it for archival purposes... and figured I could maybe possibly... post 😂.   Anyway! It's September 1st, and I figured we could touch on my "Collecting Goals" from earlier this year, and see how I've done! I have an "I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it" personality, which... I think this post will reflect 😂 Here is a quick refresher of my collecting goals (that I made in March) for those of you who have forgotten! Top of my priority list: The AG Gourmet Kitchen  (the original aka the blue one. In my humble opinion, their gourmet kitchens get worse each time.  Hi! I'm not dead!  (Well... not physically anyway 😅) I've just been pulled in so  many different directions, and blogging fell on the back burner.  But, my dolls most certainly have not ♡ As a result... I've been doing a lot of set building lately, and I thought, why not do a little behind the scenes post?   I love bts because I spend the whole photo process cringing and laughing and going "wtf am I doing" since I always approach these with no plan.   ✨For example✨  This beautiful photo of Constance above? It was never supposed to be outside.  I'd simply started walking around cutting flowers even though a) I had no clue what doll I wanted to use  b) I didn't have an outfit in mind  c) I had no clue where I was going to take  the photos, and  d) I didn't know how I was supposed to pose the doll, and what backdrop to use. But I prematurely cut the flowers anyway!   And then. The flowers were wilting, so we ...

 This doesn't fit in with my post for later today, but I just wanted to share that Caroline got a new repaint!!! So I thought I’d make a bonus post.  I think she just looks so precious now.  Anyway, that’s all. I’ll see y’all at 5 :)
