I don't know if you watched AGsmiless when she used to upload videos on Youtube, but she used to do Tea Talks (which I NEVER watched) but I think the name is catchy so I'm going to steal her idea... even though I'm not a tea drinker... White Coffee Talks just doesn't have the same ring to it 😂

Anyway!  My college courses have made me feel dead to the world, so I decided I'd just do like a random maybe updates kinda post?  

Idk.

We will see where this takes me, I might delete this in a day, I might turn this into a series thing... 

Tea Talks / Updates!

We're using Constance as my post image because she TOTALLY gives me tea party vibes... like... I don't know, but I see this picture and the topic of Tea Talks and they just... it clicks for me.  

We've been having our first week of semi-blue/blue skies in MONTHS so I am FINALLY able to go outside and take some pictures!  Seasonal depression hits HARD in this state.  

First of all, I would like to address, that yes, we are rebranding.  There became an urgent need to rebrand and I was DETERMINED to sit down and figure it out then and there so I was in the kitchen with my mom and we were brainstorming new ideas... RestlessRoseDolls is what we ended up with, I LOVED it at the time, kinda iffy about it now... but... I can live with it.  

So yes.

That is a thing now.  

Also.  Do you ever get in those moods where you will ONLY listen to one song on repeat?  Well somehow, someway, I've gotten myself hooked on Smooth Operator (the single version) by Sade and uhm... ya I've been listening to it nonstop for about three days now?  I'm a little concerned about my health atm but this does bring me to my next point!  

I think Caspian might have a TINY bit of competition now, because... guess who just finished Adam last night?  I was actually about to give up on the repaint idea because the wig and the face mold were NOT working at ALL.  And in the novels Caspian and Adam are actually fraternal twins but the gray eyes looked too hazel so they looked identical and it was KILLING me (the LAST thing I want is two dolls that look the same).  So I've just had the doll sitting for.... awhile... but uhm.  He's been finished!  You are allowed to disagree with me, but I think he is SO absolutely positively photogenic.  I've taken so many pictures of this dude and I've loved... all of them?!?????? Like usually I'll leave a photoshoot lucky if I like one.  This guy... In love.  He currently has seven tattoos... I have one more I plan to do soon because it's just a name so it's simple... but ya!  One of them is Latin... and it's Veritas odium parit (which means Truth Breeds Hatred, yes, I took Latin in middle school, no, I don't remember anything aside from "I came I saw I conquered", but that is NOT an Adam quote).  

And I have made his song for the I Made You a Playlist board Smooth Operator so.... there's the personality insight for you.

Although, I will be honest... I have NO clue what his clothing style is?  Or how to go about that... Because... I'll be real here, I have two types of boy dolls clothes.  They are either country boy or something an elementary schooler would wear.   Then somewhere in there are the outfits I use for Cassie, but none of it works for Adam so... my creativity is going to need to kick in.  Uhm.  Ya!  That's about all I have to say for Adam!  I LOVE his name, like Adam Bentley Moore is just so fun to say.  

Moving on!  

So, I'm thinking, about doing a part 2 for Cielo's tattoo photo story, and I do still plan to take photos w Cielo... although I bought... let's just say I have two dolls being shipped to me right now (my addiction is bad, okay?  I'm sorry) and one of them, I am not going to lie to you, I ONLY bought it because I want the outfit.  And I am waiting for that outfit because that's the one Cielo is going to wear in the photoshoot, so... ya!  If you'd like me to make that into a photo story, I can totally do that too.  

The second doll I bought, which I've been teasing for about two blog posts now... uhm... I have officially lost faith in my state's postal service.  (Me who was literally just about to give away the town I live in).  

So.  Let's say.... for amusements sake, that I live in... Applewood.  Well town... Bakersfield is the big postal distribution center, town... Bernice is the place it needs to go before it can come to Applewood.  I ordered this doll... the weekend after Christmas.  It's been in the mail for AWHILE.  Well!  It was out for delivery on Monday.  But then... it got marked as "return to sender" leaving Applewood and going back to Bernice.  Bernice sent it back to Bakersfield, Bakersfield sent it back to Bernice, and now Bernice has sent it AGAIN to Bakersfield, which Bakersfield has sent it, a THIRD time, to Bernice.  So lovely town Bernice keeps rejecting the package and it's just like, y'all?  The heck??? How many times does Bakersfield need to send it back to you before you realize it's not marked return to sender and it needs to come to ME?  In Applewood.  I just... I can't even.  

But while we're talking about buying things... I am POTENTIALLY getting some mini dolls and mini AG books next week... which... for photography purposes I am OVER THE MOON about... it's listed for $18 and if all goes smoothly, I'm meeting the seller next week to pick it up.... fingers crossed for me y'all.  

Final Update, and my reason for buying more dolls.... 

So... I'm kinda selling AG customs now?  Locally.  But.  That's officially a thing.  And what I find hilarious, is that Iris is my third favorite AG doll but I currently have her for sale?  

SO.  We will see how that goes.  

And then I customized another doll... which I just think she's so gorgeous... to where I genuinely kinda don't want her to sell?  I'll definitely have MJ up on my Pinterest in a few days!  

It's always just the splatter freckles.  It is such a... it wins my heart every time.  

I have two more weeks of High School and then I'm done and y'all, I am COUNTING the days.  I canNOT wait.

I am honestly FIGHTING the urge to make a post explaining my "I Made You a Playlist" board, going more in depth about the songs I picked, how the fit the characters and why... But I feel like my music taste is very... not mainstream so I don't know how appreciated it would be 😂
