I spent almost $200 on doll clothes???

Uhm.  *Ahem* New Doll Clothes!!!

*money is just... well... it's just paper and a number, let's ignore the total... Besides! We're working on our spring fashions*

I really try to avoid Etsy.  Because.  The stuff is SO cute, but it is so expensive.  

I honestly wish I had just learned to sew.  But that's okay.  

So.  Ash Wednesday was last week... and I decided I was (among other things) going to give up shopping and buying doll related things for Lent.  (We're crying real tears).  So what I did.  Was I... ya, I just decided to impulse buy some doll clothes the Sunday before, because you know.  It's like Fat Tuesday, just, with doll clothes on a Sunday! 

Anyway, the last of the packages arrived, I finished taking photos, I will include the Etsy shops with my photos, and let's get into it!  (Yes, this is just a photo dump).

First things I ordered--and this was my cheapest purchase--were from AllDolledUpBoutique.  Y'all... I cannot stress how much I love their stuff.  The quality is amazing and the prices are so incredible (the seller adds coupons too) and yes yes yes yes 100/10 stars, my go to for doll jewelry.  And if you know anything about me, I definitely have a jewelry obsession (which I think my dolls reflect).

So I bought four pieces from them (but the seller always sends a bonus necklace as well):

A dream choker (which had been sitting in my cart for maybe four months), modeled by Miss Morningstar 

A cross necklace, which I love on Cassie, but then again, what does he not look good in?   *I bought the necklace for Adam, which he looks amazing in, but he’s in the middle of a repaint rn so who else to model it but my absolutely beautiful Caspian?*

But I mean… a little sneak peek of Adam wouldn’t hurt… right? 😁😂 (he desperately needs a new wig, so that’s on top of my after Lent to do list) 

I am just... I am so in love with his book character, if only I could get the doll up to par, you know?  But!  Tattoos!  He is just... so perfectly idk... Not demented... Maybe emotional devoid of feeling?? Either way. Lots of horror movie references and while I'm not a horror fan... I'm here for it.  (I genuinely think I'm pretty good at giving my dolls different aesthetics, especially when it comes to aesthetics that are opposites of my own.  People who have multiple dolls but just make them dress and look all the same... they bore me.) 

Anyway! ✨ Back to my shopping spree ✨

The third necklace I purchased was a heart necklace (which I initially bought for Saige, but I think I'm going to give it to Indigo) Fits her vibe.  

And a finally, a silver chain to go with the gold chain I'd got in my last purchase.

And then the added gift, is this super cute shade of purple, which is the definition of Kat's favorite color, so obviously, I had to give that to her.  *Yes, I took this photo last (I actually wasn't going to include one in the blog post) and was way too lazy to dress Kat and style her hair for a photoshoot* 

*it's so amusing when the free items are just as good if not better than the ones purchased*

Second purchase!  I got a black hoodie from GreenGranny2014.  Which was... honestly... kinda expensive.  But the quality is just beyond, and the velcro backing is honestly genius.  So.  With that being said.  As soon as Lent is over, I will be buying a pink sweatshirt, and maybe another one too, because... in the books Caspian and Adam just live in hoodies and yet up until this point, I didn't own any(???).  

I swear… every time I think I just can't possibly love Caspian more.  Something like this happens, and I do.  I honestly... I think this might be my favorite item out of everything.  

Third purchase!  I genuinely find this lady's prices a little.... up there.  But.  She has cute stuff.  AND.  I'd purchased from her before, so I knew the quality was good... and she packages her items in a themed paper so.... *sigh* I gave in.  

I mean... when you have something like that sitting in your mailbox, does the money really matter???

               

I need three things: more coquette doll clothes, some goth doll clothes, and I need to seriously upgrade my collection of boy clothes.  However, this shopping spree of mine was definitely dedicated to my coquette girlies, so I saw this sweatshirt in her shop (This is JulesNmeDollDesigns btw)... Isn't it just adorable??? We love Constance.  And this sweatshirt???? Guysssss I can't.  I wouldn't be caught dead in it, but for my little trio of coquette and pink girlies?  Obsessed.  Total 100/10

I bought one other piece from JulesNmeDollDesigns... which... I like.... but not as much.  I was under the genuine impression that it was going to be a more golden yellow color.... y'all.  It is bright yellow.  Aka one of my least favorite colors.  *disappointing* I have some fears about the Velcro backing too… it’s a little uhm. Less than ideal. 

However.  Yellow is Iris's color, and she totally rocks it, so I'm still happy with the shirt.  And those bell sleeves??? Y'allllllll I can't.  10/10, because I am obsessed with those sleeves!    I need this in my size fr.   

  

Halfway done!  I really love shopping, idk what else to say.

*She included free bracelets and that just made me so happy*

Anyway, I paid wayyyyyyyyyyy too much for a pair of doll jeans guys.  But they're custom AG jeans, there was only one... and I saw them, my mind jumped to Constance, and I needed them.  I am not going to disclose how much I paid for them.  I'm… not proud of it.  

Seriously, those jeans?  total 10/10

But then! In order to get free shipping, and because I felt like it, I bought a doll-sized iced tea, and a new doll-sized coffee, because the one I have right now... it's got like paint in it and it's just.  I wanted a new one and #free shipping.  

*literally, this is the most realistic looking doll coffee... like the cup is kinda cheap but I keep feeling like I'mma spill it... so the illusion is just on point*

You know what I hate?  Is when I get Etsy notifications saying "your favorite, back in stock".  I had completely forgotten about that pink Malibu top.  But then I saw it.  And I thought of the pink bow jeans I'd just purchased... and I went "hmmmm maybe".  And then.  I saw the New York sweatshirt (which, com'on.  For Caspian?  So hot) and the Easter shirt, and... excuse my language... went "to heck with it" and I bought all three.  I love impulse buying.  Great for my bank account.  

However, I figure you might appreciate a break from Caspian, and I need a reminder that I have four boy dolls besides Caspian... SO! Here is the New York sweatshirt on AD:

And seriously... I haven't posted Magnolia in forever, so here she is, modeling the very very out of season Easter shirt.  Saying Happy Easter during Lent just seems... so wrong

So.  I put the New York sweatshirt on Jordan... and y'all... out of everyone, I've tried it on, I just love it on her!  And! It is totally in her character to steal Caspian's clothes so I think this sweatshirt now unofficially belongs to her 😂 I will leave you with this photo and then officially... goodbye!
