Restoring Caroline’s Hair

*this is simply MY personal process, I can't be held responsible for any damage done to an AG doll*

♡Restoring AG Caroline’s Hair♡

How I went from this:

To this!!

I seriously believe in magic rn guys like omg.  My mind... I am SO SO excited!!!

Materials:
Shampoo and conditioner
Pipe cleaners
✨Time ✨
Doll hairbrush
*optional* hair spray!

Also... I have what honestly feels like a magic potion, it fixes ALL of my dolls with dry hair (even Cielo!)
THIS STUFF:

The key is NOT rinsing out the conditioner.

So the first thing I did was I shampooed her hair and then conditioned it.  I don't rinse out the conditioner, but brush the hair while the conditioner is in! After that I applied a second...  I guess you could say layer...  of conditioner (again, not rinsing anything out)

Then I separated the hair into well... Ideally small (but I did a mix of small and medium because I did not have a lot of pipe cleaners) sections and rolled it around the pipe cleaners!

Let it COMPLETELY air dry (took about 24 hours, depending on the size of the sections), take out the pipe cleaners, apply a light mist of hair spray, and viola!

Isn't she just STUNNING?
I mean, when I bought her two years ago, her hair was the definition of MATTED and now we have curls?!?!  like.... omg.  I'm so happy I didn't give up on her

  1. I genuinely think this might be the best Caroline hair restoration I've ever seen! You've given me hope for my Caroline. She has so much potential, but I NEVER use her smh.

  2. Honestly, this post is a friendly reminder that I desperately need to do this with my Caroline, lol. I've only restored her hair once, like two years ago (my bad!)
