2026 AG Goals

 Hi guys!

2 months into 2026, I thought I would share some of my doll-related goals going into the new year! (Sharing my 2025 goals was honestly SUCH an amazing manifestation, so maybe we can bring some of that energy into 2026!)

Without further ado, let's get into it!

A rather sad way to start, but #1: downsize my collection.

I just received Summer (who I renamed Lottie, based on Lottie from Princess and the Frog, idk why but it clicks for me) for my birthday, and with that, there are no more dolls on my wish list!  (Isn't that funny?)  There are lots of AG dolls I like, and don't get me wrong, Claudie is really tempting, but there are no dolls that I *really* want.  At least... none that I can justify adding until my collection has gotten smaller.  (I've literally run out of room for new dolls, it's starting to get overwhelming.)

I have six dolls right off the top of my head that are either going to be posted on my Etsy, or on OfferUp/Facebook Marketplace.

Magnolia is the only doll that I think I will list for sale locally.

#2

I really want this to be the year I focus on new doll clothes (I'm vibing with Valentine's Day themes rn).  I'm in love with so many Pleasant Co and early 2000s pieces, and I'm not gonna lie, JustDolling's "26 Retired Truly Me Outfits" is so my vibe, that I think I will be using that post as a guide, lol.  Scrolling through that post... there were just so many outfits where I went "omg, I need to get that!"

With that being said... not to pat myself on the back or anything... but I am really accomplishing this clothing goal so far. My parents bought me Mia’s hockey jersey, and I finally went ahead and purchased the two AG outfits that had been living in my eBay cart forever.  Needless to say, they did NOT disappoint.

I mean... I don't think Lindsey has ever been so stunning.

#3

work on buying accessories / photo props!  It has been a dream of mine to do a Thanksgiving photoshoot, and I'm manifesting now that this will be the year I curate the pieces.

(I also really need a doll bike.... and I'm now suddenly vibing with the idea of a doll pool???)

#4

Finish painting Logan’s tattoo sleeves.

Omg, have I shared with y'all? I bought Logan off OfferUp a few months ago! I had to drive about an hour and a half to pick him up… but it was honestly so worth it?

I renamed him St. Laurent (don't ask... I'm going through this "phase"... I have a Valentina, Prada, Chanel... it's this entire side quest of mine.)  But designer name aside, St. Laurent is actually such a cool name.  I've always had a book character named Laurent (Laurie), what's wrong with putting St. in front of it?  Keep in mind this is also coming from the girl who buys EXCLUSIVELY from thrift stores.

I digress.

He’s got some face tattoos right now, but I want to fill in both arm sleeves before I resell him. (Or maybe I'll end up keeping him, who knows ✨)

#5

Take more snow and beach pictures!

I can't really control the snow (glory, I'm so jealous of the people that have it) but I can go to the beach!  I took some of my FAVORITE pictures at the ocean last summer.

And I did just purchase an American Girl red ruffled bikini, which I'd been eyeing forever, and it is perfection on Versailles... so....

Hand in hand with #5 is #6: take a genuinely attempted, vogue-worthy photo of each of my dolls. I definitely have my cover girls (Versailles, Yewon, and Iris, I’m looking at you) but I genuinely have SO many dolls that I just adore and they definitely need more representation (goes without saying, some are more photogenic than others 😅😂).

Take my PC Addy for example.  Does anyone know that I have her?

Nope.

Is she stunning?

Well, I think so.  (And I named her Queenie, so what's not to love?)

And I think that just about sums up my goals!

As always, thanks for reading

  1. I didn't make one of these this year because Monster High is the brand trying to drain my wallet currently. But I like seeing other people's goals!
Also I will be needing to see more pictures of your Logan! The repaint looks really cool, but I'm also biased because I unironically love my Logan.
